ABOUT NOTTINGHAM LAW SCHOOL AND NOTTINGHAM TRENT UNIVERSITY

Nottingham Law School is part of Nottingham Trent University and we have earned a reputation for outstanding graduate employability, excellent teaching standards, impressive Student Services, and a diverse but close-knit student community.

The Law School is located on the City Site in the heart of Nottingham City Centre. The campus has been recently refurbished to give you the best possible student experience and provide you with a safe and productive learning environment. You will have access to modern lecture theatres, restaurants, reception areas, Student Services and a suite of mock courtrooms and mooting rooms built especially for the Law School.

Nottingham is a big city by UK standards, but unlike bigger cities such as London or Manchester, the city centre is surprisingly compact, with everything you need close by. It has everything an international student needs; there is something in Nottingham to suit everybody and every budget. It is big enough for you to find lots of things to do, yet small enough to feel welcoming and familiar. It is a lively, multicultural and friendly city.

We're popular with new students

We're one of the largest and most popular universities in the UK, because we are committed to giving you the best possible student experience. We've invested £350 million in our staff, facilities and buildings over the last 10 years. It's no coincidence that we attracted 28,000 students worldwide this year (latest HESA data, 2011 / 12).

We're popular with current students

A massive 91 % of our students would recommend studying at NTU. The UK's 2013 National Student Satisfaction Survey also shows that they rate our teaching. Over 83% find our courses intellectually stimulating. We're up 3% from last year to 86% for overall student satisfaction, which is above the sector average. We've also climbed 17 places from last year in the Times and Sunday Times combined University Guide for 2014.
